What Is NVBWN?
Nambucca Valley Women’s Business Network is a network of women from the Nambucca Valley committed to supporting, inspiring and empowering each other. NVWBN is run by a volunteer committee of five local women – see About page for more info on us!
Is NVBWN for business women only?
No! We deliberately chose to put ‘women’ before ‘business’ in our name, and that’s because women always come first. It doesn’t matter if you own your own business, work for an organisation, have a side hustle, or are thinking about your next step – you are very welcome.
When do the events take place?
Our network meetings take place bi-monthly on the second Thursday of every month. We also have regular pop-up events, including workshops, art exhibitions, as well as informal meet ups.
How do I get involved?
You can follow us on Facebook or Instagram, where you’ll be able to get a feel for what we do, or subscribe to our newsletter. You can attend a meeting as a guest, or you can join as a member for just $50/year. Where are the events held?
We hold our events at Nambucca Valley cafes, bars, restaurants, the local libraries, and anywhere else we can find that will host 15-20 rowdy women! We move around from town to town to give people from all corners of the valley an opportunity to attend a meeting close to home, and to spread the love across the local businesses.

Just bring your lovely self, a willingness to be open and make some new friends.
